About Us:
Visionaries in Premier Home Education
No matter your reason for exploring home education, our Academic Networks partners understands how to support families with confident, compassionate, and creative solutions. These partnerships were established due to contributions from parents, educators, psychologists, industry professionals, and legislative advocates.
Director Callaway is a distinguished education consultant who has dedicated over 20 years to pioneering transformative home education solutions from coast-to-coast. Her journey into home education began years before she had children of her own, as she transitioned from an educator to a business consultant, and then into college admissions counseling.
As a dedicated homeschool parent to gifted Gen Alpha boys, she brings both personal and professional insights to her work.
In the past two decades, her scholars have attended and/or received merit scholarships from top-tier universities such as Vanderbilt, Tuskegee, UNC, Florida State, Harvard, Belmont, Stanford, and Spelman. Others have enjoyed success building enterprises or contributing to STEM, performing arts, homeland security, and legal industries.
Mrs. Callaway's early career in the classroom and business consulting provided her with invaluable experience in career counseling and entrepreneurship. This unique blend of skills laid the foundation for her subsequent role as a college admissions counselor, where she adeptly combined academic guidance with career coaching.
This comprehensive approach has become a cornerstone of her methodology, empowering high-level home-educating families to navigate customized academic, college, and career pathways with confidence.
What Influenced the Vision
In 2005, Mrs. Callaway was approached by homeschool families and groups to provide college planning insights. The families included those with promising athletes and artists who preferred to work on their talent than spend their days at traditional school.
She also helped secular/alternative faith families who were either disgruntled with Common Core curriculum or excluded from homeschool groups that required an attestation of faith.
Inspired by sage and scientific trailblazers, Mrs. Callaway integrates academic excellence with practical insights, relating to families of diverse social and cultural backgrounds.
In addition to her education, teaching, and academy-building experience, her continued research and professional development includes;
- College Planning (licensed agent),
- Parent as Tender Healer (certification),
- Life Coaching (diploma for program design)
- Neuroeducation (developmental research)
- Mental Health First Aid (certification)
Her community leadership is reflected in her service on various educational and cultural boards, including private homeschool academies, the Tennessee Youth Symphony, and the Vestry of Christ Church Cathedral, Nashville.
Currently at the helm of building student success programs for Academic Networks and their partners, Director Callaway continues to redefine what it means to deliver a premier homeschool experience. Her work inspires and equips parents and educators to embrace innovative educational strategies that prepare today’s learners for tomorrow’s challenges.
It is fitting that Director Callaway lives in the "Athens of the South", Nashville, TN. She enjoys attending lively concerts at the Schermerhorn (Nashville Symphony),worldschooling with her husband and sons, and night sky-watching in the countryside.
